Wright House Programs
A after school program designed to work with system-involved youth to strengthen emotional wellbeing, giving young people a positive outlet through graphic design and fashion. Students build confidence and creative skills while developing healthier ways to process their emotions.
Tate High Juvenile Justice Program
This after school program works with 8th - 12th grade students who’s club budgets are defunded. We help them raise funds by teaching them how to use screen printing to create merchandise that sells and raise money for their student union clubs. This program is currently being ran at SE Junior High School, City High School, Liberty High School, West High School and Tate High School
Graphic Design Development for Black and Latino Student Clubs
This is a fellowship program that empowers local fashion designers to grow and elevate their own fashion brands. Fellows receive mentoring and access to platforms such as fashion shows and pop-up shops to showcase and sell their work. This ends with a big celebration after 9 months of work.
Fashion Fellowship Program
An in-school course, taught Monday through Thursday, where Wright House instructors teach graphic design and fashion fundamentals. Students learn the foundations of garment-making using Adobe Illustrator and CLO3D. Only at City High School.
Fashion Technology Program
A monthly workshop where community members learn to sew and complete fun, approachable projects such as pot holders and patchwork clothing. The workshop introduces sewing basics in a low-pressure, hands-on setting.
